Role: Head of Health Foresight
Overview: Led strategic foresight programs for global clients including Sanofi, Johnson & Johnson, and Google. Explored digital therapeutics, emerging health technologies, and urban health systems to inform long-term innovation strategies.
Impact: Helped clients align future trends with clinical workflows and patient needs, shaping product development and policy direction.

Policy Innovation – Ontario Ministry of Health

Role: Senior Policy Advisor
Overview: Contributed to the implementation of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), one of Ontario’s most complex health policy transformations.
Impact: Navigated sensitive ethical, legal, and operational challenges to support a policy framework that balanced compassion, safety, and public trust.

Design Strategy & Team Leadership – Scotiabank

Role: Director of Design Strategy and Community of Practice
Overview: Led customer-centered innovation across digital banking platforms. Built and facilitated a Community of Practice for design and product teams to enhance collaboration, reporting, and craft excellence.
Impact: Strengthened cross-functional alignment and elevated design maturity across the organization.

Inclusive Digital Innovation – Canadian Standards Association

Role: Practice Leader, Research & Design for Innovation
Overview: Introduced service design, user research and strategic foresight practices to modernize standards development at CSA. Built and led a cross-functional research and design team focused on creating AI-enabled, digitally accessible experiences that reimagined how standards are created and used.
Impact: Her leadership resulted in a 40% increase in new AI-enabled digital experiences and a 30% reduction in design costs through the creation of a scalable Figma-based design system. The work helped transition CSA from legacy systems to inclusive, intuitive, and future-proofed digital platforms.

Strategic Consulting & Academic Partnership – Social Innovation Canada

Role: Project Sponsor & Strategic Consultant
Overview: Provides strategic guidance to Social Innovation Canada’s leadership team, helping them navigate complexity and scale systems-level impact. As a project sponsor, she initiated and led an academic partnership with OCAD University’s Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation (SFI) program to explore future opportunities for the organization.
Impact: The collaboration brought fresh foresight perspectives into SIC’s strategic planning, strengthened leadership capacity, and supported the organization’s mission to advance inclusive innovation across Canada’s social impact ecosystem.

Advocacy & Global Campaign – Plan Canada International

Role: Manager, Brand Marketing and Partnerships
Overview: Played a key role in launching a global advocacy and fundraising campaign to support girls’ rights, culminating in the successful designation of the United Nations International Day of the Girl.
Impact: Through strategic foresight, stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector collaboration, Christina helped shape a movement that elevated the voices of girls worldwide and influenced global policy. The campaign mobilized international support, raised awareness of gender-based challenges, and created a lasting platform for change.
